First home buyers Ashley and Dylan bought an affordable home through HomeSeeker SA at Woodville Gardens and should move in before the end of 2024.
“We had been looking sporadically at the real estate websites to monitor the market, and then one of the agents alerted us to an advertisement for a $5,000 deposit property build, so we looked further into it and jumped on the HomeSeeker SA website to see if we were eligible,” says Ashley.
33-year-old first home buyer Michael did his research before buying his new affordable home through HomeSeeker SA.
Michael – who works in the health care sector - says he spent many hours on real estate websites and the HomeSeeker SA website researching what houses and land were available.
28-year-old first home buyer Stephanie had finance at the forefront of her mind when she bought an affordable home through HomeSeeker SA.
Stephanie moved into her new affordable home at Woodville West in early 2024, and she says it’s a great place in a nice community.
“It’s perfect for me. It’s modern, there isn’t too much to worry about in terms of cleaning and maintenance, and it has plenty of storage room,” says Stephanie.
36-year-old first home buyer Tessa says despite her experience working in the real estate industry, she still needed to do her research – especially about finance – when buying her affordable home through HomeSeeker SA.
Tessa’s new home is under construction at Oaklands Park and should be ready to move into before Christmas 2024. She organised her finance to buy her new affordable home through HomeStart.
45-year-old Amanda and her partner were having trouble finding a home they could afford and organising finance until they discovered the HomeSeeker SA website.
First home buyers Amanda and Rashan’s new affordable home at Woodville Gardens is under construction and should be ready before March 2025. Amanda has been regularly visiting the building site to track its progress and take photos.
She says several things were causing them some trouble when they first started looking for a home.
